Job Summary:

The Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring conformance to quality systems and for engaging and driving continual improvement.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Train & monitor the performance of Quality personnel in the Injection Molding plant.
• Monitor rework & reject processes for accuracy.
• Coordinate raw material & component incoming inspections described in the control plan.
• Give cosmetic quality guidance to all personnel in molding.
• Coordinate boundary samples and internal quality alerts.
• Document customer quality questions.
• Perform containment measures on suspect products.
• Inspect and test the Status procedure.
• Control of non-conforming products.
• Understand and follow proper control of gauge instruments and devices.
• Enter all in-process part specifications for all parts.
• Schedule work hours and assign workloads for QA personnel in the Injection Molding plant. 
• Set up and maintain packaging instructions.
• Follow up on internal corrective actions.
• Coordinate sorting activities, as necessary.
• Prepares data for and participates in customer visits and audits.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality. 

Education and Experience:

• Certification or advanced degree in Quality Management or Quality Systems preferred.
• 3 years in manufacturing environment, 2 injection molding process is desired.
• Experience in quality systems, ISO, and quality assurance.

This is an ONSITE role, remote work is not available.
