HOERBIGER Engine Technologies/Altronic LLC is seeking a Control Panel Production Manager to join our team in Girard, Ohio. Reporting to the Production Director, this individual will act as the coordinator for scheduling and planning of the production. This position will allow for collaboration with multiple departments ranging from supply chain, engineering, production planning, manufacturing engineering, sales, and more. This is a full-time salary position, day shift, Monday-Friday schedule.

Main Tasks:

• Responsible for the overall planning and scheduling of production of the control panel business
• Responsible for holding weekly production meetings that includes Customer Service, Sales, Engineering, and Production Planning
• Responsible for proper scheduling of the execution of safety training and procedures.
• Responsible for compliance to quality and environmental certifications (ISO9001 and ISO140001).
• Responsible for standard assembly inspection prior to QC testing
• Lead good quality craftmanship on jobs by assuring procedures are in place and enforce safe working practices throughout the plant.
• Responsible for making recommendations about labor requirements based off current and future needs, purchase of new equipment/assembly aids and/or elimination of current or old equipment.
• Responsible for prioritizing daily labor activities of all electrical panels to ensure delivery dates are met. (Daily work assignments, panel builds and delivery, etc.)
• Provide necessary feedback on cost and timing issues related to scheduling, assembly, purchasing, and management.
• Recommend, initiate and/or follow-up on engineering and manufacturing process changes and documentation according to changed processes.
• Responsible to fulfill administrative functions related to hiring, firing, disciplinary action, merit recognition, and technical development of all reporting personnel.
• Responsible for determining training needs of department personnel.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Ideal 5 years' supervisory/managerial/team lead experience in panel assembly manufacturing.
• In depth knowledge about process, design, optimization, analysis tools and key performance metrics (OTD, Quality, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret control panel assembly drawings, bills of materials, etc.
• Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and ERP systems.
• SAP experience desired.
• Strong experience in production planning, release of production orders is a must.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
