Job Summary:
We are seeking a Jewelry Associate to join our team at our location in Winter Park, Colorado. We are looking for someone that can not only sell jewelry but it willing to learn how to make jewelry. We make half the jewelry we sell. No experience is need just a willingness to learn. We are a small mom and pop store with two locations. This position is mostly in Winter Park, Colorado, but will need to cover a few days in the summer at our Grand Lake, Colorado location. As a Jewelry Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their jewelry needs. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a passion for jewelry and enjoy working in a multi faceted retail environment.
Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing jewelry items
- Provide product knowledge and information to customers
- Perform product demonstrations and explain features and benefits
- Process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing merchandise
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
-Assemble jewelry as needed for both stores, wholesale orders and on-line orders
-Help out with social media posts, videos and email campaigns
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience, preferably in the jewelry industry, is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with customers
- Knowledge of jewelry products, materials, and trends is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
