Program Manager for Day Services- Satellite Location

Job Summary: Oversees satellite location of Day Services. Supervises Direct Support Professionals, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Program Coordinator-Activities. Reports to the Assistant Program Director of Day Services – Centralia, MO Location. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise all aspects of services; ensuring continuity of care, effective communication and achieving positive results
  • Hire, supervise, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals, CNAs on an ongoing basis
  • Complete payroll by established deadlines 
  • Develop service schedules and staffing schedules to ensure individual goals and needs are met while being within established staffing ratio requirements
  • Ensure all annual signed consents, implementation strategies, and other IP documentation is completed and in file
  • Ensure that the Person Centered Planning Process is adhered to; complete annual assessments and attend service meetings
  • Ensure daily service documentation and event reporting is completed in a timely manner and meets standards
  • Write monthly reports that accurately reflect services and include an interpretive analysis of progress
  • Oversee funds for departmental activities 
  • Maintain open communication and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure that staff maintain certification in all required trainings
  • Provide tours to interested referrals
  • Remain informed of, and assist in assuring compliance with appropriate program standards (DMH, waiver requirements, agency policies and procedures, CARF standards and best practice)
  • Other duties as assigned 

Additional Job Functions:

  • Keep Assistant Director informed, in a timely manner, of situations or concerns related to individuals, personnel, or services 
  • Monitor fleet and report maintenance issues
  • Maintain staffing ratios by providing direct care/transportation as needed
  • Oversee site and environmental cleanliness
  • Regular attendance and punctuality

Starting Base Pay Range for this position is $50,000/salary with consideration of experience and education. Automatic $.50 per hour rate increase after 6 mos. of employment. An additional $.50 per hour rate increase after 12 months of employment.

Requirements

Required skills and ABILITIES:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to supervise, coach, and train staff individually and as a team

Time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Ability to proactively problem solve.

Ability to use computer programs such as Zoom, Microsoft Word, Excel, email and online documentation and payroll systems. 

Creativity and resourcefulness

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

GED or HS Diploma required, Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree preferred

Two years of experience working with people with disabilities required

Previous experience in supervision preferred

 REQUIRED LICENSING or CERTIFICATIONS:

Maintain NCI credentials

Class E Missouri Driver’s License and proof of vehicle insurance

Successful completion of criminal history background check

Complete and maintain all certifications required by the agency or management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The employee frequently is required to have the ability to reach, and to have dexterity of their fingers/hands.
