The right candidate for this role will be eager to leverage qualitative/quantitative data to improve and report on our customers’ experiences.

• Learn the role of Customer Experience (CX) relative to brand differentiation and client retention.
  • Understand how Altair obtains customer feedback, and how we are evaluated by our clients.
  • Identify solutions to enhance customer experiences.
  • Inform and influence CX strategy.
• Focus on the non-respondent population to collect data and yield observations on the reasons for lack of responses.
• Design and conduct a focus group to obtain feedback from actual customers, polling for suggestions to elevate our overall response rate.
• Use focus group findings to form recommendations to Altair to elevate survey response rates.
• Monitor customer feedback and escalate customer trends & emerging issues to CX leadership.
• Advance key initiatives to bolster customer survey response rates.
• Collaborate with the CX team to develop dashboards and support data structure.
• Support the CX team through various project-related activities and administrative functions.

EDUCATION:

Customer Experience, Business Administration, or related field.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills (Qualtrics experience would be a major plus!)
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Excel in data analytics
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills within all levels of the organization
• Communicate effectively with external customers, clients, and service partners
• Exhibit excellent project management skills and ability to advance multiple projects simultaneously
• Learn from experience to perform in new or changing situations
• Take initiative and set high standards for self
• Have a positive impact through self-awareness and social skills

This is a paid internship , with an approximate hourly pay rate between $20.00 and $22.00. Interns will work a hybrid schedule, consisting of a minimum of two days per week in-office at Altair’s Frisco headquarters, and the other days from home. Each workday will be eight hours total, regardless of the work location for the day. Please note that Altair will be reviewing its hybrid work policies this summer, which may result in the minimum number of in-office days increasing. We require the following criteria for our Interns:

Must be a Junior/Senior level Undergraduate in good standing pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related degrees preferred)

• 3.25 GPA level or higher (verifiable)
• Must be available June – August 2024
• Enthusiastic self-starter, with a “go-getter” attitude who proactively takes on new tasks
• Flexible and willing to work as part of a team
• Must have excellent communication skills – written and verbal
