Rocky Mountain Care Riverton is a 40 bed transitional rehabilitation facility. We are excited to announce a part time opening for an Occupational Therapist Assistant. We have an outstanding therapy team who provide innovative and progressive treatments for a wide variety of patients. We treat post-surgical orthopedic, sub-acute neuro, and general med geriatric patients. We also have a growing outpatient program. The building truly is beautiful with spacious gathering areas, a great dining experience, and private/semi private room options.

Our COTA will be responsible for the following:

• Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
• Giving advice and providing support for family members and caregivers
• Helping patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
• Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief
• Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly

We are excited to announce a part time COTA position. We offer our COTA an ideal work environment along with a great team to work with. Our gym is fully stocked with the latest and greatest in equipment and technology. We have a good mix of orthopedic, Neurologic, and general medicine patients. Our average length of stay is 23 days and 85% of our patients return to their prior living arrangement.
