Rocky Mountain Care Riverton is pleased to announce a full time position for a Physical Therapist! Rocky Mountain Care Riverton is a 40 bed transitional rehabilitation facility. We have an outstanding therapy team who provide innovative and progressive treatments for a wide variety of patients. We treat post-surgical orthopedic, sub-acute neuro, and general med geriatric patients. We also have a growing outpatient program. The building truly is beautiful with spacious gathering areas, a great dining experience, and private/semi private room options.
We're excited to offer our therapists an opportunity to deliver patient centered care. We empower therapists to decide what their patients need, and allow enough time in their day to deliver. There are no 15 minute encounters, we do not schedule at 125% production, and we encourage our therapists to spend the time to ensure each patient receives the care they require.
We offer our PT an ideal work environment along with a great team to work with. Our gym is fully stocked with the latest and greatest in equipment and technology. We have a good mix of orthopedic, Neurologic, and general medicine patients. Our average length of stay is 23 days and 85% of our patients return to their prior living arrangement. Our PT will be responsible for the following:
Identify and meet patients' goals and needs
Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients' motion and mobility
Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
Consult and practice with other health professionals
Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
Document patient care services
