Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Global Aftermarket Product Manager is responsible for driving growth in services, consumables, and replacement parts. Alpha’s aftermarket services and support are the foundation of the business and have been for over 60 years. This high-visibility role will work across all functions to identify new offerings to delight customers and attract new customers in untapped segments or regions. The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of leading a complex, global business.

Detailed Primary Responsibilities:

• Generate demand for services and consumables by planning and executing promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Implement processes and tools that reduce friction in the customer buying process in high-frequency, low-quantity orders.
• Introduce business cases based on market research for new offerings through the innovation pipeline and support them through launch and growth phases.
• Execute tactical margin improvement projects based on analysis of complex profitability datasets.
• Maintain current global price lists and pricing policies for all aftermarket offerings.
• Generate sales tools and training for the sales, support, and field service teams to clearly convey aftermarket offerings and value propositions.
• Build business cases for improvement projects to achieve customer satisfaction targets.
• Collaborate with key account managers to optimize pricing and offerings at key accounts through strategic account plans and contracts.
• Collaborate with marketing to execute lead generation and customer loyalty events.
• Provide accurate and timely revenue and cost forecasts as inputs to overall business financial plan.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; technical degree strongly preferred.
• 5 years of product management, product marketing, marketing, or sales experience required.
• Knowledge of polymer and rubber markets is a plus.
• A successful track record in a global or multinational role is preferred.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong cross-functional project management abilities required.
• Strong analytical skills using analysis tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel and Minitab.
• Value proposition creation for technical industrial services.
• Remote monitoring or artificial intelligence product background is a plus.

• US-based, preferably in Akron-Cleveland, OH area

• Travel: <20% domestic and international
