Alpha Freight Systems, a premier asset-based carrier, is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Dallas. If you have a passion for sales, expertise in truckload transportation and warehousing we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
As a Sales Representative, your primary focus will be on expanding our customer base, driving business growth, and promoting our dry and refrigerated transportation services. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Identifying and prospecting potential clients in need of truckload transportation services
2. Building and nurturing strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their specific warehousing and transportation requirements, and providing tailored solutions.
3. Conducting thorough market research to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities.
4. Developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase our market share.
5. Providing accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the management team.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Sales Representative in a similar sales role, with a strong focus on truckload transportation
2. Familiarity with the Texas market and existing industry contacts are preferred
3. In-depth knowledge of truckload transportation processes, warehousing operations, and industry best practices.
4. A track record of exceeding sales targets in the logistics or transportation industry.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.
6. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
