Position Summary

The Accounting & HR Generalist is a role that assists in basic accounting procedures, employee on-boarding and payroll functions as well as diverse and challenging roles and responsibilities related to a multi-divisional aviation and tourism business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Accounting/Bookkeeping Responsibilities

• Engage and perform basic accounting procedures (A/R, A/P, inter-company billing)
• Review and reconciliation of company credit card expenses
• Assist with basic accounting procedures, month end closing, journal entries and general ledger maintenance

Onboarding & Payroll Responsibilities

• Responsible for onboarding newly hired employees to include setup in online HRIS (Paychex Flex) and time and attendance platform, employment documents, and benefit enrollment
• Compiling payroll data such as garnishments, deductions, reimbursements, incentives, etc.
• Review digital timekeeping system for completeness and accuracy; import into payroll processing with Paychex Flex
• Contacting various employees/contractors for any missing information
• Processing bi-weekly transfer of payroll data to payroll system

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
