Role Description

We are currently seeking a diligent and organized Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office space, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our staff and clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

● Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies as needed.

● Empty trash receptacles and disposal of waste in accordance with company policies.

● Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as reception areas, conference rooms, and break rooms.

● Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of any shortages.

● Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning carpets or upholstery.

● Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and sanitary work environment.

● Collaborate with office staff to address any cleaning or maintenance needs in a timely manner.

● Additional related duties as required.

Skills Required

● Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role, preferably in a professional office setting.

● Knowledge of cleaning techniques and best practices for maintaining a clean and organized space.

● Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.

● Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.

● Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.

Key Performance Indicators

• Quality of Cleaning: Regular assessments will be conducted to evaluate the thoroughness and effectiveness of cleaning tasks performed.
• Timeliness: Completion of cleaning tasks within designated timeframes to ensure minimal disruption to office operations.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining appropriate levels of cleaning supplies and equipment to support efficient operations.
• Client and Staff Satisfaction: Feedback from clients and staff members regarding the cleanliness and organization of the office space.
• Adherence to Safety Protocols: Compliance with health and safety guidelines to uphold a clean and sanitary work environment and mitigate potential hazards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
