Assists cardiologist with diagnostic and therapeutic examinations using highly sophisticated computer systems and x-ray equipment. Obtains quality images, assists with patient care activities, and carries out departmental objectives.

8-13 week Travel Cardiac Catheterization Technologist on Oahu

Full-Time Day shift. 40 hours per week. Requires endurance and flexibility for being on-call for emergency cases after normal working hours; Overtime required beyond normal working hours to meet patient-care demands as needed.

Hours/Shift:

40 hrs/week

Day shift

M-F, occasional Saturdays (<1/month)

Extensive call required

8 hour shifts (possible 10-hour shifts available)

Requirements:

High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Graduate from an approved two (2) year radiologic technology program required. Successful completion of basic cardiac rhythm course preferred. State certification as a Radiologic Technologist required. National Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. Basic Life Support (BLS), Level C required, with retraining once every two years. One (1) year cardiac catheterization or special procedures experience preferred or two (2) years radiology experience required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.

Salary-

$25.00/hr. 

$2,000/week tax free stipend (for qualified travel assignment contract personnel)

$90/hr. OT/Call back 

$5/hr call

$3000 per week total base pay (with no OT)
