This is a full-time position with a Monday – Friday schedule, 8:45a am – 5:45 pm. The pay is $11 - 13 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications. This position is onsite at our center located: 2500 N Beaumont Ave, Kissimmee FL, 34741.
The Toddler Teacher works to coordinate engaging developmental activities, and implements a curriculum that prepares children for school and enhances their pre-reading, pre-math, language, and social skills. The Toddler Teacher serves as a model and mentor. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children ages 2-year-old.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with both center’s vision and state and local / state requirements
• Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Work with staff, children, and parents to foster a team environment
• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children
• Encourage children to develop a community-spirited classroom through sharing, caring and self-regulation
• Develop a well-balanced schedule of activities including learning, playing, diapering, eating, and napping

What We Need from You:

• DCF 45 hours or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Teachstone CLASS Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
• CPR and First Aid Certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood education preferred
• High School Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study preferred
• Must clear a full level II DCF background check
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
