Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Technician to join our team at the Columbia, MO headquarters. As a Structural Technician, you will play a crucial role in our projects. The position involves a wide variety of structural drafting tasks, including the creation of construction drawings, details, as well as displays for forensic investigation. There is also potential for investigative field work with this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD to create accurate and detailed structural drawings for building construction projects.
  • Assist with production of project specifications.
  • Collaborate with an experienced team to ensure the successful execution of project requirements.
  • Generate drawings, details, and displays specifically tailored for forensic investigation purposes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in construction-related drafting and detailing.
  • Potential involvement in investigative field work, contributing to on-site assessments.
  • Potential involvement in drone imagery acquisition for structural and investigative projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD is required; experience with Revit is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the construction field is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills to convey ideas and concepts clearly.
