Asphalt and Concrete Superintendent Construction Base Salary to 90k / year Bryan, TX

• Our client is a multifaceted company with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. They provide excellency in underground utilities, concrete, earthwork, excavation, demolition, drainage, and other site work needs.
• The Asphalt and Concrete Superintendent will be responsible for managing crews, coordinating equipment, and ensuring that paving operations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The leadership, technical expertise, and attention to detail of the Asphalt and Concrete Superintendent will be critical in driving the success of paving projects.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for asphalt and concrete paving projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and site conditions to identify requirements, constraints, and opportunities for optimization.
• Lead and supervise paving crews, equipment operators, and laborers to ensure the proper execution of asphalt and concrete paving activities.
• Monitor paving progress, quality, and productivity to ensure adherence to project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct pre-paving meetings to review project plans, safety procedures, and quality control measures with paving crews and subcontractors.
• Coordinate the use of paving equipment, including pavers, rollers, compactors, and trucks, to support asphalt and concrete paving operations.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in asphalt and concrete paving construction, including surface preparation, paving, and compaction operations.
• Strong knowledge of paving methods, techniques, and equipment, with the ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and paving profiles.
• Proficiency in safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and best practices related to asphalt and concrete paving construction.

Compensation :

• Base salary in the 65k 90k / year range
• Yearly bonuses (5% based on company performance).
• Company-provided vehicle or gas stipend.
• 1 week of PTO in the first year, 2 weeks after 1 year.
