Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students. Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans

- Support students with special needs, including those with autism, in their educational and behavioral development

- Provide individualized attention and support to students during classroom activities

- Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment

- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and communicate with parents or guardians

- Assist with behavior management strategies to promote positive classroom dynamics

- Foster a love for learning by engaging students in interactive and hands-on activities

- Contribute to curriculum development by providing input based on student needs and interests

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices

- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues

- Experience in curriculum development and implementation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
