Job Description

Alloy is looking for a Program Manager who has the ability to balance creativity with structure, is a great communicator and a consummate problem solver, and eager to jump in on a wide variety of projects — from website redesigns, mobile apps, digital marketing campaigns and more. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to plan out a project and work with a team for day-to-day executions.

Familiarity with project management best practices as well as scrum methodologies is needed. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who also knows when to escalate potential program issues and risks to management. The Program Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and meet high quality standards..

Requirements

• 3 years experience as a digitally-focused project manager
• Strong understanding of website design and development life cycle
• Familiar with digital marketing campaign execution (banner ads, SEM/paid social, email marketing)
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Comfortable serving in a client-facing role (via email, Slack, Zoom- and occasionally in-person).
• High emotional intelligence that allows you to work easily with people from all backgrounds and provide nuanced management when necessary (both internally and externally with clients)
• Ability to solution, collaborate and be a positive lead for your team and clients. Building relationships and effecting positive change is just as important as implementing tactical measures to improve efficiency.
• Proficient in resourcing tools, project budget tracking and task tracking software (we use Kantata, Jira and Confluence)
• Natural collaborator that can work with a variety of personality types
• Has the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Define scope of technically complex programs and shape a statement of work with your leads
• Create detailed program plans from a high level schedule to detailed sprint plans
• Facilitate and manage strategic roadmaps for our clients using inputs from your team leads and client stakeholders
• Translate a program plan into required resources
• Facilitate and document meetings (note taking, action items, etc.)
• Translate requirements from clients into actionable plans and tasks for your team
• Manage day-to-day team tasks
• Be the keeper of the lists and reminder of the to-do’s
• Facilitate project status meetings (including creating status reports and meeting follow ups)
• Be the best part of our clients’ day

Nice-to-haves:

• PMP, Scrum Master or Product Manager certifications
• Ecommerce or complex application program management
• Public relations experience
