alloy precision technologies is Hiring a Quality Inspector- 2nd Shift Near Mentor, OH

2ND SHIFT WORK FOUR 10-HOUR SHIFTS MONDAY THRU THURSDAY WITH OVERTIME OPPORTUNITIES ON FRIDAYS. THESE JOBS HAVE A 10% PREMIUM ADDED TO THE STARTING RATE FOR WORKING 2ND SHIFT.

SUMMARY:

To ensure manufactured components, processes, and procedures meet internal and external specifications. Assist in the daily operations of the Quality Assurance Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect manufactured parts and welded assemblies for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Use a variety of measuring instruments and test equipment to perform inspections (Such as Micrometers, calipers, Height stands, Comparator, and other equipment)
  • Review inspection results with a cross functional team that may consist of engineers, production, and managers.
  • Investigate and report causes of dimensional and process non-conformances.
  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve product and / or process quality.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs.
  • Conduct audits of manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Inspect incoming materials and components.
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings.
  • Keep abreast of new technology and developments in the aerospace industry.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Inspecting work orders and other documentation to ensure that all procedures have been followed correctly.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the Calibration program.
  • Other duties as required
