Position: Receptionist/Legal Clerk

Location: Hurst, Texas

Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with an hour for lunch

Compensation: $16/hour

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Receptionist to join our consumer bankruptcy firm in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, screen and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Assist attorneys and legal staff with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Prepare and organize legal documents, correspondence, and client files.
  • Maintain and update client databases and case management systems.
  • Provide support in organizing and preparing for client meetings, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal or administrative education is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office and case management systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
  • A positive and professional attitude with a genuine passion for assisting people in need.
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English speaker preferred

We are a reputable consumer bankruptcy firm dedicated to helping individuals overcome financial difficulties and start anew. Located in Dallas, Hurst, San Antonio and Waco, TX, we provide comprehensive legal services and guidance to our clients, ensuring they receive the support they need throughout the bankruptcy process.
