JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Repair Tech Helper is an entry level position that is responsible for assisting machinists, welders and other technicians in the Bucket department.

RESPONSBILITES:

• Assists in document and material control.
• Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of products.
• Assist with moving product, facilitate production.
• Assist with documenting product dimensions.
• Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly work areas free of hazards.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Proactively participates in company’s Safety Program.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public and co-workers to communicate effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

WORK CONDITIONS:

• This position is performed in a shop environment. 
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools for successful job performance.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner.
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling.
• Moving, carrying, lifting, objects in excess of 50 lbs.
• Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time.
• Work in both cold and hot climates.
• Work in or near industrial hazards.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule in order to meet demands of the role.
