Description
Allied Alloys, LP is a company that is redefining quality in recycled metals by building alliances with suppliers as well as offering a refined approach to alloys management. We currently have a position available for a flatbed driver.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition and maintaining daily vehicle inspection report including checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs with dispatcher; validating adherence to road ability standards.
-Loads truck by requesting, placing, and securing items from multiple loading points.
-Delivers items by identifying destinations and maintaining schedule.
-Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding questions.
-Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior.
Requirements
-A safe previous driving record.
-Class A CDL
-Two years roll-off experience & flatbed
-Must be able to lift 80 lbs
-Ability to meet D.O.T. medical and drug testing requirements
-Ability to pass company administered road test
-Good verbal communication skills is a must
