SUMMARY
Compiles, reports, and analyzes financial information
JOB FUNCTIONS
Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Key responsibilities which take no less than 10% of overall job time
•Provide monthly reporting and analysis of revenue and expenses, including variance and driver analysis
•Support the planning process by providing revenue and expense forecasts
•Create and deliver presentations that communicate analysis findings to audiences within Finance & in other departments
•Maintain financial models & identify opportunities for improvement and ease of use
•Use various software packages (MS Excel, MS Access, COGNOS, SAP, BPC) to assemble and manipulate data and generate accurate reports
•Assist in managing quality of data used for reporting and analysis
•Provide support for ad hoc requests and special projects
•May perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Math or other quantitative field
•Three (3) to five (5) years experience in statistical or financial analysis
•Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (preferred)
•Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access proficiency preferred
