The Senior Network Administrator at Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD) is responsible for administration and support of computer-based networks, network operating systems, cloud networking and configuration, identity management, wireless technologies, scripting, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, security, DR, backup, and related network applications software. The ideal candidate is an experienced IT professional who has a passion for continuous learning. They identify ways to streamline and improve operations; collaborate with others to identify and address information technology needs; and provide support and training. They have prior experience helping organizations migrate from legacy systems to newer systems. They promote and reinforce practices that ensure data security. Requires equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field AND 5 years experience of hand-on experience with information systems, enterprise networks, and associated software products. Experience with VMware and Cisco administration and installation, Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory system administration and installation, SAN administration or hybrid computing installation, and Checkpoint Firewalls or equivalent is highly desired.
Salary: $106,632 - $147,648 plus excellent benefits.
In-office position, no WFH.
