Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in month end closing and financial statement review
• Completemonthly reconciliations, journal entries and other general ledger duties
• Assist and provide information to independent auditors at year end
• Responsible for preparation and filing for sales, use and property taxes
• Support our systems team on their projects/jobs from a financial perspective
• Learn and document basic configuration and setup parameters for Equipsoft ERP
• Process Corporate credit card statements
• Calculate and book sales commissions
• Support accounts payable and receivable processing requirements as needed
• Develop and validate various reports for leadership team usage
• Assist the accounting department in accounting projects/tasks as needed

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with two years of relevant experience. Four years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Ability to multi-task and reevaluate priorities when necessary
• Detail Oriented with Problem Solving Skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions
• Must have excellent written oral and communication skills with a customer service focus
• The ability to act and operate independently daily with minimal daily direction
• Need to be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
• Must be able to sit in front of and use a computer for long periods of time
