Must be able to meet with client on either Sat 3/2 or Sat 3/9 prior to starting care.

Strong transfer skills and experience with ALS or Parkinson's clients are REQUIRED.

$25 per hour

• Client: Male
• Primary Diagnosis: ALS
• Location: Manhattan, NY
• Days: Two consistent shifts a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
• Time: 8am-8pm

About the Client:

• Client has private caregivers who will provide cross training prior to starting care.
• Has no use of his hands and cannot ambulate, sits in wheelchair to raise his legs to help with edema.
• Caregiver to assist in bed baths, full assist with dressing, is continent and uses urinal.
• No trouble swallowing or breathing yet, no dietary restrictions. Caregiver to help with breakfast, other meals will be ordered.
• Meds are pre-poured in pouches for caregiver to give.
• Caregiver to perform transfers using a pivot disk between 4 to 6x per day (in/out bed, bathroom, PT).
• Client attends PT on Tuesday and Wednesdays in Westchester County via private car service, moves in wheelchair, caregiver will attend with client and takes about 4 hours.

The Home Health Aide will assist clients with personal care (ADLs) and home management tasks including but not limited to: housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands. The experienced healthcare professional that is selected for this role must have relevant experience providing top concierge care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Home Health Aide Certification in New York State.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an HHA.
• Experience working with high profile/VIP clients.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Good Organizational writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills.
• Experience with adults and the senior population is strongly preferred.
• Must be available to work in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
• Must be able to work 8 – 12 hours shifts with availability to provide at least 1 weekend day if case requires.
• Comfortable with technology.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Fluency in English

• Ability to work exible hours as required to meet identied patient needs.
