Summary:Identifies, manages and develops lead sources for multiple Curis nursing centers within an assignedmarket.Conductson-siteclinicalassessmentsofpotentialpatientsanddeterminesappropriateness for admissions.Facilitates all aspects of a smooth transfer/admission process.
Qualifications:
Education:
§Graduateofanaccreditedschoolofnursingortherapy.BSdegreepreferred.
Licenses/Certification:
§Validclinicallicenseinthestateemployed.RNpreferred.
§ValidCPRcertificationwhererequired.
§Validdriver’slicense.
Experience:
§Aminimum ofthreeyearsclinicalexperience,ofwhichtwo yearswereinalong-term care environment.
§Experienceineitheranadministrativeorconsultantrole,orinvolvementinasurveyprocess.
§Customerservices,salesand/ormarketingexperiencepreferred.
EssentialFunctions:
§Receivesleadsfromproviders,facilities,oranycustomersource,andconvertsappropriateleadsto drive census.
§Managesandcoordinatesleadsfromkeyhospitalsinthemarket.
§Inconjunctionwithfacilityrequirements/abilities,clinicallyaccessespatientstodetermineifthe patient meets admission criteria.
§MakescontactwithpotentialleadasarepresentativeofAlliance Health Group facilities.Assistswithanyquestions from lead and/or family members.
§Obtainsthenecessarymedicalandfinancialinformationtoqualifypatientsforadmission.
§Facilitatespatientplacementbasedonclinicalservicesneeded,bedavailability,patient/family preference, geographic location, etc.
§Troubleshootsareasofadmission,publicrelations,pre-certificationandphysicianfollow-upin conjunction with facility.
§Conductsneedassessments.
§Asnecessary,maycoordinatecommunityeducationandeventsforhospitals,physiciansandother referral sources.
§Assuresresidentsafetywhileperformingjobresponsibilitiesandfunctions.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
§Skilledinclinicaladmissionsassessment.
§Abilityandwillingnesstotravelfrequently(atleast80%)andworkon-siteinnumerousfacilities.
§Abilitytoworkflexiblehours.
§Abilitytoworkindependentlywithminimumdailydirection,andtoself-motivate.
§Abilitytocommunicateeffectivelywithpatientsandtheirfamilies,physicians,hospital administrators, and at all levels of the organization.
§Knowledgeof,orabilitytolearn,reimbursementprograms.
§Abilitytoconductoneselfinamatureandprofessionalmanner.
§Meetsalllocalhealthregulations,andpassespost-employmentphysicalexamination,ifrequired.
§Abilitytomaintainconfidentiality.
