Throughout the day working as an assistant supervisor, you complete various payroll tasks, such as reviewing payroll tax filings, conducting meetings with Payroll Tax Analysts to provide support and training, staying up-to-date with legislative and regulatory updates, and responding to government agency notices and inquiries related to payroll taxes. With your keen eye, you review data to ensure accuracy and compliance and prepare reports on progress toward achieving the department's goals and objectives.

As a senior assistant director, you collaborate with other departments such as Finance, Tax, Implementation, Product, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on data quality standards and secure consistent payroll outcomes and operations for clients. REQUIREMENTS

• 7 years of recent payroll tax experience including multi-state payroll experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting/Taxation, Finance, or other business-related fields
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local taxes
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll tax software
