Job Summary: The Injection Nurse administers biologic infusion therapy, immunotherapy treatments and injections to clinic patients. Also responsible for maintaining inventory. Duties/Responsibilities:
Administer immunotherapy/biologic injections
Maintain inventory for biologic and immunotherapy
Preparation of patient vitals, supplies and medications
Communicate with patients and providers when needed
Process shipments to [patients when needed
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency with EMR systems
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational/Technical/Business school
At least 1 year related experience required
Certification RN, LPN, or MA required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
