The Call Center Representative provides excellent customer service to inbound and outbound callers in a professional manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answer high call volumes on a daily basis
- Communicates with all care teams to promote information transparency and continuity
- Schedule patient appointments according to provider templates and referring physician offices
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation
- Collect past due balances for all patients and balance daily patient charges against computer
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs
- Obtain verification of benefits information from the patient's insurance company
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-oriented communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1 year of previous patient care/customer service experience preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
