As an Allergy Immunotherapy Lab Nurse in our practice, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with the preparation and mixing of allergy immunotherapy extract and administering allergy injections. In addition, the role will involve supporting our staff and other provider offices regarding allergy immunotherapy treatment. You will also be cross-trained to provide general patient care duties as well. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30p

Qualifications:
- Pharm Tech, Lab Tech, MA, CMA, LPN, RN or equivalent experience
- Excellent people skills with great eye contact
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Excellent communication skills with a clear and pleasant voice
- Neat, well-groomed, professional appearance
Responsibilities:
- Greets and creates a positive patient experience with each patient
- Prepares and mixes allergy immunotherapy extract with sterile technique and according to protocols
- Conducts patients assessments and triage including vitals and medical histories
- Administers allergy injections according to treatment plan
- Provides patient education, instruction and support regarding treatment plans
- Provides telephone support to patients, staff and other provider offices
- Maintains and stocks medical supply inventory and equipment
- Coordinates delivery and mailing of allergy vaccine to outlying and other providers offices
- Maintains immunotherapy logs
- General Patient Care Duties:
- Rooms and prepares patients for procedures while maintaining neat and clean clinical areas
- Performs diagnostic procedures (skin testing, spirometry, etc.) and basic lab tests (CLIA waived)
- Enters, scans and updates clinical documentation (EMR) ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Performs all other duties as assigned
