Our 7-physician specialist office is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Medical Assistant to join our busy and fast-paced practice.

Qualifications :

• Applicant must have great interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task while being well organized.
• The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants and have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Dedication to providing excellent patient care.
• Preferably bilingual in Spanish.
• The candidate may need to work rotating Saturday mornings.
• The candidate must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel in Bay Area.

• Salary is commensurate based on experience

Job Duties :

Room patients in a timely manner, including but not limited to :

• PFT’s
• VS’s
• History with all medications pt. is taking
• Have rooms stocked for MD / NP
• Call prescriptions refills
• Call patients back with MD / NP answers to questions and results to tests
• Able to get medications that MD / NP need
• Able to do treatments required by MD / NP
• Able to anticipate needs of MD / NP
• Triage position, able to schedule an appointment
• Oral Challenge to food and medications
• Patch Testing
• Able to draw up & give IM and SQ injections
• Able to treat and maintain a systemic / anaphylaxis
