Allergy A.R.T.S. is a multi-specialty, multi-resource private practice clinic located in the scenic plains of Texas' panhandle. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and care for our community! Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Clinic Hours: Mon to Thurs 8am to 5pm
Friday 8am to 12pm
Salary: $19/hr DOE
What you will be doing for Allergy A.R.T.S. (job duties):
- Research of denials and resubmission of bills for proper reimbursement
- Correspond consistently and professionally with payers, patients, and internal customers
- Review and respond to payer correspondence in a timely manner
- Resolution of patient billing inquiries
- Detailed documentation of all actions taken on worked accounts
- Build trusting relationships with patients in and around your community
- Assure quality assurance standards are achieved
What we are looking for (requirements):
- Detailed oriented individuals
- Self-starter mentality
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Understanding of Medical Claims, EOBs, Insurance regulations
What would make you shine (preferred skills):
- Medical Coding Experience
- At least one (1) year of experience
- Multi-lingual (e.g. Spanish, etc.)
