Allegria is looking for a Director of Resident Life to join our Independent Living team!

Some duties to include: 

Evaluates the physical, emotional and/or social needs for supervision.

Assists in the orientation of new residents to adjust to community living.

Assists residents and families by offering support in dealing emotionally with the aging process and illness.

Supervises Resident Services employees.

Assists in interpreting and keeping current resident services policies and procedures.

Serves as a member of the Safety Committee.

Provides education and training regarding the role of Resident Services within the community.

Oversees department budget 

Supports the programming within the department 

Contributes to social media i.e. – pictures, posts, etc. 

Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the IL Administrator & Director of Residential Services.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required (master’s preferred) in a relevant field.Five years of relevant professional experience. A CTRS licensed Recreational Therapist is preferred.
