Job Description
Location: Carmel, Indiana
Have you designed, constructed, and implemented scalable data solutions on the Azure cloud platform? Do you also have proficiency in automating the deployment of infrastructure (Infrasture as Code) using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager templates? Are you eager to contribute to the operational stability of the power grid for 45 million people? If so, continue reading, as MISO is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join the team!
As MISO’s Data Platform Engineer , you will manage the server infrastructure in Azure Cloud using automation and standardization. This is a new headcount to our growing Data Analytics Team, and you’ll contribute to delivering end-to-end data infrastructure solutions. Some of your responsibilities as our Data Platform Engineer will include:
- Having knowledge and experience across many facets of cloud technologies
- Continuously improving process, design, and practice and understanding the governance, security, and monitoring to proactively solve problems
- Experience with ongoing infrastructure deployments and cloud migrations
- Designing and developing infrastructure monitoring solutions for cloud-based data solutions
- Ability to work a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
Your Knowledge as our Data Platform Engineer include:
- Microsoft Azure data platform:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure AD Domain Services
- Key Vault
- Terraform
- Experience developing automation solutions
- Machine Learning Ops (MLOps)
- 2 years of experience with enterprise operating system technologies: Windows, Linux
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
