JOB SUMMARY

job duties and responsibilities

• Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the Federal Government and other assigned prospects
• Collaborating with Engineering, Proposal and contracts teams to develop effective technical solutions and winning bids and proposals.
• Relationship Management with new clients and existing as assigned.
• Utilizing internal tools to manage pipeline and other reporting requirements
• Other duties as assigned.
• Travel as required.

job knowledge AND skills

• General understanding and or experience with mission critical technology infrastructure systems and products. These may include telecommunications, power solutions, mechanical systems, data centers, electronic security systems and other related components
• Experience with government contracts and procurement as well as Government missions and systems
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with all levels of customers, employees, and vendors
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Strong work ethic and drive

education/certification/job experience required

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or industry equivalent experience considered
• Experience with Government and National Security Customers
• Ability to secure and maintain Department of Defense Security Clearance
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid driver’s license
