LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) needed for medication administration and medication management in the assisted living setting.

Requirements:

• Current La nursing license in good standing
• Current CPR, TB and Fit for duty
• Must be extremely dependable and have a positive attitude
• Experience with geriatrics, dementia and medication administration preferred
• Primarily Monday - Friday either 6a-noon or 7a-1p. PRN evenings or weekends available
• This nurse not only does the AM and Mid day medication pass but is also responsible for med management tasks such as, but not limited to, ordering refills, following up with MD/Pharmacy/other 3rd party providers, patient/family education, communication with the facility/families, ordering supplies, setting up residents for service, communicating with AllCare administration and anything else that would set up the next nurse for a successful shift.
• Nurse will work at one location. We do have the option to cross train at an additional Lafayette area facility if interested.
