Overview

We are looking for a motivated CNC Machinist who is responsible to setup jobs, set tooling, and operate multi axis CNC mills. Quality of work, personal safety, care and maintenance of equipment, and attention to detail must be maintained. Additionally, the CNC Machinist must ensure they are practicing all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines. We are looking for a driven individual that is seeking to broaden their skills over time with a growing company. We promote a team environment, so you'll work with your team along with other departments throughout our company.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely by adhering to safety standards and guidelines.
  • Download NC programs.
  • Edit NC programs when necessary.
  • Setting tooling per setup instruction and enter tooling offsets.
  • Setting machine zero-point references.
  • Compensating tooling offsets.
  • Read and understand blueprints, including geometric dimension and tolerancing (GD T) to produce manufactured parts per specification.
  • Use common hand gages (dial calipers, micrometers, bore gages, depth gages, etc.) to ensure part quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Work with inspection department to double check 1st run parts to avoid scrap and maintain product quality.
  • Adhere to documented procedures and processes.
  • Work in a team environment and remain flexible to perform other duties to support daily operations, when needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years full time CNC milling experience; including setups responsibility
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of workplace safety
  • Ability to safely use lifting aids (chain lift)
  • Must wear personal protective equipment as required
  • Manual dexterity
  • Clear verbal communication
  • Ability to read and write English language
  • Must be willing to work OT when needed
