Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This position requires strong attention to detail and customer service skills. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with numbers, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
-Greet customers and visitors entering the building
-Answer phones
-Gather customer information and input service calls into construction management system
-Explain billing process to new customers
-Receive and reconcile customer payments
-Scan deposits into bank
-Run credit cards and receive credit card payments
-Match ACH payments with monthly bank statements
-Send past-due invoices and statements to customers
-Reconcile monthly credit card statement
Requirements:
- Experience in technical accounting, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable is beneficial
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately analyze financial data
- Knowledge of credit analysis principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
