WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A TRADING SYSTEM SUPPORT ENGINEER

As a Trading Systems Support Engineer you play a crucial role in the oversight and management of our real-time production trading environment. The team provides monitoring of trading performance, troubleshooting of trading system, configuration management and automation of the processes to drive continuous improvement.

This role requires deep technical and operational knowledge to proactively monitor the environment and to minimize operational risk during releases. The team works closely with traders, operations (back office), exchanges and developers, emphasizing system reliability and minimal downtime from any trader’s problem.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot the systems driving our trading activities

• Perform the changes, coordinate the upgrades, and communicate with relevant 3rd parties

• Propose new ideas and improvements for daily operational routine

• Build and maintain toolkits for performance monitoring

• Provide in-depth analysis of system performance

• Define processes and procedures for the knowledgebase

• Develop strong trading knowledge and combine it with system and development expertise

WHO ARE YOU

· Holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

· Strong understanding of Linux OS

· Fluency in Python and shell scripting

· Deep understanding of Database technologies: MSSQL, Postgres, Redis, InfluxDB, MongoDB

· Experience in IT Customer Support of software development will be a plus

· Experience with any trading system (Bloomberg, Tbricks etc) will be a plus · Highly flexible and adaptable: willing and able to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment

· Strong troubleshooting skills: the ability to solve problems creatively and proactively

· Experience in gathering business needs: communicating with key stakeholders and delivering solutions quickly

· Strong interest in financial markets

· Able to work onsite during the hours of 7:30am-3:30pm

· Good verbal and written English skills
