ResponsibilitiesVisionary Leadership
- Lead the ED team with foresight and strategic direction, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Manage day-to-day ED operations to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal resource allocation.
- Establish and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and protocols in line with best practices and regulations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor ED staff to promote professional growth and a positive work environment.
- Foster interdisciplinary teamwork among staff, physicians, and other departments to enhance patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing improvement initiatives as necessary.
- Implement and oversee quality programs to uphold patient safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with healthcare leaders to enhance patient outcomes and improve the patient experience.
- Efficiently manage departmental budget to ensure quality care while optimizing resource use.
- Stay informed on industry advancements and encourage staff growth through ongoing learning and development.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current, unrestricted RN licensure in Florida.
- Minimum of three years of ED management experience.
- Strong clinical expertise in emergency medicine.
- Knowledge of relevant emergency medicine regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proven resource management and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth.
