Shift: 6a-6p & 6p-6a

Full-Time/PRN 

Pay: $36.00- $40.00/hr. 

Sign on Bouns: $5,000

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Staff Nurse is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency calls as indicated. 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES: 

Essential Job Duties: 

• Administers medications. 
• Administers treatments, including, but not limited to dressings, catherization, suctioning, oxygen, etc. 
• Assists in direct resident care as necessary. 
• Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered. 

Other Duties: 

• Assists in admission and discharge procedures. 
• Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated. 
• Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
• Keeps physician and family aware of change in resident’s condition. 5. Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.
• Assures continuity of services and care. 
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. 8. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. RN or LPN currently licensed by the State. 2. At least 6 months nursing experience. Geriatric involvement preferable.
