All American Home Care is Hiring a Home Care Aide Near Watertown, NY

Home Care Aide

All-American Home Care was founded in 2015 to serve people on Medicaid and those wishing to enroll in it. We participate in New York State’s Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) – a terrific model that puts the consumer or her family in charge of her own care. We’re headquartered in Rochester and serve hundreds of clients across dozens of upstate counties. Already, we have been named one of the 75 largest employers in the 6 county Rochester area. We are looking to add Home Care Aides to our team.

Responsibilities of Home Care Aides:

  • Provide health care services in patients residences
  • Perform domestic and household tasks
  • Transport to doctors office or to hospital
  • Assist with clients’ personal care activities
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
  • Provide or assist in Light housekeeping, meal preparation & laundry, grocery shop (ESSENTIAL ERRANDS)
  • Maintain a high degree of patient confidentiality and all times due to access of sensitive information
  • Maintain regular attendance, consistent attendance, and is flexible to meet the needs of the client

Qualifications of Home Care Aides:

  • No Certificatein Required
  • Must be 18 and over
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be caring, compassionate, empathetic and have a true desire to care for others
  • Driver’s license or Reliable transportation
  • High School diploma/GED
