Description

 Seeking polite, professional call center representative to work closely with other team members to provide outstanding service to our customers through providing product and service information, answering questions, handling complaints, and resolving technical issues. The benefits center representative may manage a high volume of inbound/outbound calls to create a positive experience for each caller. Listen to clients to understand the reason for their call, address all questions, and provide an accurate and efficient response. Representative should be customer-focused, detail oriented, and efficient. Representative should be polite, dependable, knowledgeable, and adaptable.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist employees with enrolling in various benefit programs such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Answer employee questions regarding benefits eligibility, coverage options, and plan details.
  • Provide information about plan costs, deductibles, and co-payments.
  • Process enrollment forms, eligibility changes, and maintenance of employee records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve employee benefit issues or concerns.
  • Educate employees on their responsibilities in maintaining their benefits coverage.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefit enrollment and eligibility changes.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding benefit enrollment and eligibility.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, providing information about benefits, and ensuring that clients feel supported and valued.
  • Engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information. Representative will also be responsible for documents and updating client records based on interaction.
  • Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
  • Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the employee benefits products and services.
  • Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company, position, products and services.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially with CRM software, and strong typing skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • As a condition of your employment, you must obtain and maintain the Group Life & Health license.
  • Bilingual in Spanish Required.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Advanced degree from college or technical school; or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required.
  • General Health Accidental and Life Licenses (Group One)
