Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bank reconciliation 
• Review, codes, and records transactions in general ledger system 
• Identifies and solves discrepancies in accounting records 
• Ad Hoc reporting 
• Performs month-end closing by balancing production to revenue; AR and AP to balance sheet, trial balance
• Provide monthly reporting including preparation of balance sheet and income statement 
• Maintain records of producer draws vs business generated 
• Monthly Audits/adjusting of splits and account minimums to ensure consistency and compliance with commission grid 
• Financial statement reviews and audit 
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and maintain positive relationships internal/external resources 
• Have command of and thorough understanding of Excel and Applied Systems 
• Attend meetings as requested 
• Make suggestions that you feel would improve us in satisfying our mission, meeting our goals, or making us a more beneficial place to work 
• Make a positive influence on the team 
• Other job duties or responsibilities as assigned
