IV Vitamin Therapy Registered Nurse

Alive and Well (Dallas) is seeking a part time IV Vitamin Therapy Registered Nurses for our wellness center. Fri/Sat hours, Sunday would be desired.

Alive and Well is seeking IV Vitamin Therapy Registered Nurses for our new Dallas location that appreciates an integrative approach as well as our core values.

The IV Vitamin Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the IV infusion nursing protocol, as described in our Standing Orders, to deliver intravenous vitamins, minerals and amino acids, as well as injections such as B12, Glutathione, D3. IV vitamin therapy is administered to customers who drop in or make appointments. The nurse within this position will be highly effective at supporting our customers in having an experience that enhances their overall health and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. License to be presented at time of hire.
• Experience in a functional medicine clinic setting is a plus
• Experience in a wide variety of medical settings is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Administer vitamin, mineral, amino acid IV’s as well as injections.
• Provides information and education to guests who seek to customize an IV by modifying or boosting the combination.
• Provide high care and high quality customer service experience to all guests
• Ability to work with individuals and groups safely, calmly and in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Ability to multi-task while remaining relaxed and present for guests
• Provides brief consultations to first time clients reviewing health history, reasons for wanting IV therapy
• IV RN reviews all consent / waiver forms for any health concerns that are outside standing orders
• Order IV supplies as needed and unpack / organize supplies.
• Answer all Hospitality inquiries regarding scheduling or IV therapy for guests walking in. Assist with follow up calls for those who have follow up questions or concerns.
• Straight forward administrative responsibilities such as rendering services, filing and staying current on new ingredients.
• Work directly with our Medical director for exceptions as needed.
• Ability to work alone and multi-task with ease and friendliness.
• Complete the opening and closing tasks with each shift
• Administer Major Autohemotherapy IV’s, vaginal and rectal insufflations and other ozone IV’s

Hours: Fri, Sat, Sun 9-5pm -Part-Time positions available.

Pay: $30 per hour

Start date: This is a new Alive and Well location. Start date may vary. It is currently an opening date of mid-March.
