• Lead the technical sales process for data, analytics and AI solutions;

• Develop statements of work (SOWs), identify the project scope, deliverables and assumptions, and provide estimates;

• Perform hands-on discovery, architecture, development, documentation and product/solution development work.

Does this sound like you?

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical presales, consulting or solution architecture, focusing on data, analytics and AI solutions;

• Over 10 years of experience in data warehouse and lake house architecture or similar fields;

• Microsoft Azure and Databricks certifications are strong assets;

• Hands-on experience:

  • and deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Platform, Analytics, and AI services, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Analysis Services, etc.;

  • in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud architecture, including Azure Data/Azure Stack, Databricks architecture, security best practices, etc.

• Proficiency in:

  • data warehousing, lake houses, ETL/ELT design, architecture and methodologies;

  • in building semantic layer calculations in DAX.

• Expertise in Power BI reporting and semantic modelling;

• Experience:

  • selling data solutions alongside Microsoft, with an understanding of how Microsoft interacts with partners;

  • in ETL development in T-SQL, PySpark and various enterprise tools;

  • in implementations of a self-service data layer using data mesh/fabric or other architectures for data sharing and governance;

  • with Power BI, Qlik, Tableau and/or other reporting and BI tools.

• Advanced SQL working knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), performance tuning, as well as a working familiarity with a variety of databases;

• Project estimation and product demonstration skills;

• Familiarity with Microsoft D365CE and D365F&O, Supply Chain Management, ERP, MDM, data governance, data architecture roadmaps, TimeXtender/Jet Data Manager;

• Strong organizational and time management skills;

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively work across multiple projects;

• Effective communication of complex technical and business concepts, both verbally and in writing;

• Bright, articulate and self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
