Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing and providing housekeeping services to include dusting, trash removal, odor control, laundry services to include collection of soiled lien and distribution of clean linens, sanitation of usable surfaces, bathroom cleaning, mapping and vacuuming, carpet and upholstery cleaning and all other cleaning duties required to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Essential Job Duties

• Ensures all areas of the campus are clean and sanitized on a daily basis in accordance with department standards and procedures.
• Handles complaints concerning services, workmanship, customer satisfaction, staff productivity, training and competency
• Provides quality assurance by conducting area inspections daily to identify measurable performance criteria. Resolves problematic patterns and develops action plans for correction of all discovered deficiencies.
• Provides supervision, and training of assigned staff
• Provides staff with most current version of MSDS information to ensure safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or general education diploma required
• Minimum of three years housekeeping experience.
