We are actively seeking a full-time Replenishment Buyer to join our team located in Dedham, MA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow through on all open orders within 24 hours for status and/or lead-time daily
- Working with customer service and manufacturing to resolve any supply issues for products.
- Analyze and suggest min /max inventory levels in accordance with materials management guidelines with the supervisor
- Work with the warehouse supervisor to resolve any miss-ship/damage issues
- Work with accounting to resolve any pricing issues
- Load new product numbers in ERP System utilizing new product tool
- Load updated pricing in ERP system utilizing new pricing tool for each supplier assigned
- Responsible for inventory valuation on each supplier assigned
- Review and work on inventory turn by supplier and item level
- Discontinue items in ERP system
- Share responsibilities for Team lead email box and Materials Management hotline
- Assist other replenishment buyers or Senior buyers when needed
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Associates Degree with preference towards education in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or other related fields/relevant experience
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience
- Experience with ERP software is a plus (AX Dynamics preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
- Skilled in customer service and working with vendors
- Ability to stay on task, multi-task, prioritize tasks efficiently, and follow through with each item
- Ability to be organized, communicate well, and maintain interpersonal relationships
- Ability to learn new software applications as needed
- Ability to work well with other employees to foster a respectful and professional workplace
