Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sr Data Scientist with expertise in data science and natural language processing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, a good understanding of data science, natural language processing and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. As a Sr Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in analyzing data, identifying patterns and selecting algorithms to meet customer needs. Your role will be critical to set the right approach to solve understand and use customer data effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define the right solution to meet customer requirements.
• Collect, clean, and pre-process large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
• Develop, validate, and implement machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
• Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate the effectiveness of different models and strategies.
• Evaluation of algorithms based on the gathered data to determine the best approach.
• Develop visualizations and reports to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models, and update or retrain them as necessary.
• Build scalable machine learning pipelines and using feature engineering and optimization methods to improve data set performance.
• Contribute to the development and use of best tools, and frameworks for data science and machine learning projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of Python used in data analysis.
• Proficiency in using data manipulation and analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience or knowledge of Google Vision API is nice to have.
• Strong understanding of statistical modelling/ ML and DL techniques, such regression, CART, NLP, time series analysis etc.
• Experience with data visualization tools and libraries, such as Matplotlib, ggplot, or Tableau is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Experience with database systems, such as SQL is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management and organizational skills.
• The candidate must have effective communication skills and demonstrate a record of accomplishment and excellence in delivery. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Pay: $85.00 - $120.00 per hour
