About this opportunity

As Web Manager AE you are responsible for creating and maintaining Align’s customer and consumer-facing brand websites and landing pages in the region. You’ll oversee the websites’ functionalities, evaluate and manage performance, facilitate hosting and server management, and coordinate the development, maintenance and update of website content.

You’ll work closely with different stakeholders and department within the Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, and IT spaces.

In this role, you will…

  • Lead development and prioritization of roadmap for web properties, platforms, and applications
  • Effectively manage developmental changes to the digital user experience (front-end & back-end), from beginning to completion with all the key stakeholders involved
  • Support the constant identification of opportunities to improve web platforms’ efficiency and performance
  • Support the definition and execution of strategies for digital content to move audiences through the conversion funnel and fuel business growth
  • Define project scopes and manage the development of the customer experiences (CX) on customer touch points across websites, mobile web applications, and customer portals
  • Perform proactive and consistent analysis of data to understand behavior, conceptualize and run continuous tests and develop insights that inform the direction of our web strategies and drive improvements based on data
  • Prioritize and evaluate the work generated by the Development team to ensure highly effective features and functionality of the various products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Education, Corporate Communications, Commercial Excellence, IT as well as outside agencies to obtain, clarify, and define requirements for web projects
  • Work closely with go-to-market teams and local teams, to identify and drive web landing pages and additional digital optimizations to improve conversion rates
  • Ensuring full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and monitoring competitor websites

In this role, you’ll need …

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in technology, computer science, marketing, visual design or other related discipline
  • 6-10 years’ experience in web development, web management and/or product management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across organizational levels
  • Ability to think strategically, execute effectively, lead and manage a team that has multiple, varied priorities with a proactive lens
  • Proven success running global websites both public facing and gated
  • Experience with implementing testing methodologies and analyzing/communicating learnings and subsequent optimizations
  • Experience in defining requirements for CMS-based websites, including integration with CRM, ERP, DMP and third-party technologies (e.g. Salesforce, SFMC)
  • Experience working within content management systems (CMS) (e.g. Contentful, WordPress, or Drupal)
  • Proven experience using web analytics and usability platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar, GTM)
  • Functional knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable troubleshooting websites to constantly improve the User Experience (UX)
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, & presentation)
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to proactively drive business results
  • Ability to make sound strategic decisions, incorporating data from multiple sources and business judgment
  • Fluency in English mandatory
  • Fluency in French, Italian, German, Spanish or other relevant languages beneficial
